Super gemmy and quite large Hessonite Garnet!

Actually, this is a cluster of gemmy Hessonite Garnets but I was referring to the largest crystal at the very top which measures 1.8 cm in size. The interiors are transparent with an intense orange coloration and the surfaces are glassy and striated. Only a few trivial contracts keep this fine cluster from being pristine. The display light dances off of each crystal face.

From the Jeffrey Quarry, Asbestos, Les Sources RCM, Estrie, Québec, Canada.
Measures 3.3 cm by 3.5 cm by 2.3 cm in total size.
