Blue Botryoidal Shattuckite

Large plate featuring bright blue botryoidal Shattuckite with radial sprays!
This specimen appeared at the show and is easily the largest and finest plate I stumbled across. I love the color and the texture of the surface and the radial acicular growth inside the exposed nodules is incredible! Each radial patterns swirls luster when the specimen is rotated back and forth. In excellent condition with no detractions or major bumps. The specimen is palm sized so it would make an excellent cabinet display piece.

From the Kambove District, Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga (Shaba), Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre).
