Exceptional specimen of Beryl var. Morganite with Smoky Quartz and Cleavelandite!
This crystal is quite large at 9 cm in size and incredibly gemmy! I can literally see through the crystal to the matrix beneath or hold it crossways and read through it. The stone that could be cut from this crystal would be enormous! The pink color of this Morganite is the richest I've ever come across and it is so pink that it is easily noticed from across an entire room. I can't speak highly enough of the specimen but I do want to point out that there is also a smaller Morganite (top right) on this matrix of Smoky Quartz and Cleavelandite!
From the Nuristan Valley of Afghanistan.
