A secondary copper mineral frequently found in the oxidized zones of Cu-bearing ore deposits.

 Very fine Azurite Rose from the Chessy-les-Mines, France. The specimen of Azurite displays excellent parallel growth habit of tabular crystals on both front and back. A deep rich blue colour is seen to the Azurite, with very minor Malachite and Quartz.
