Glossy botryoidal specimen of deep blue and green Chrysocolla!
This specimen could also be described as mammillary or grape-like, with a mostly blue surface and some slightly greener overgrowth. The specimen is in good conditional for a mineral that tends to bruise easily, with only some incompleteness on the backside out of view. I usually see Malachite specimens from the Star of Congo and pure Chrysocolla specimens are less common.
From the Star of Congo Mine, Lubumbashi, Katanga Province, Dem. Rep. of Congo.
Measures 8.4 cm by 9.4 cm by 10 cm in total size.
